Library Closure for Christmas, December 24th-25th

The Library will be closed this Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday. We will reopen at 9am on Wednesday, December 26th.

Santa Is On His Way to the Library!

Santa is on his way to the library!  Whether you are naughty or nice come see Santa for a really fun Holiday event at the Apache Junction Public Library, Thursday, December 20th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Santa and his helpers will be meeting and greeting all the children. Celebrate the joy of the season with music, movies, singing and laughter.

Surprises and a great time for all! Don’t forget to bring your camera! Program sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Fun Van by First Things First.

Library Hosting Salvation Army Angel Tree

The Library is proud to host a Salvation Army Angel Tree this year.

The Angel Tree is located next to the Service Desk. Stop in, pick up a tag, and bring unwrapped gifts back to us by December 19th to ensure more local kids can have a happy holiday this year.

We all appreciate it!

Tween Events: 2013 Schedule

The library's monthly tween events, for ages 9-12 years, are always free and no registration is required.

Library Closed for Thanksgiving, November 22-24

The library will be closed Thursday, November 22nd through Saturday, November 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. We will reopen at 9am on Monday, November 26. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday!

Fun Van Begins Evening Classes in December

The First Things First Fun Van at Apache Junction Public Library will begin evening classes in December.

Parents of young children age 0-3 are encouraged to join us on Tuesdays, December 4th, 11th, and 18th, while parents of children of multiple ages 0-5 are welcome on Thursdays, December 6th, 13th, and 20th.

Fun Van classes, which run from 5pm to 7pm, will cover a multitude of special topics on these nights.
