Library Closure for Christmas, December 24th-25th

The Library will be closed this Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday. We will reopen at 9am on Wednesday, December 26th.

Santa Is On His Way to the Library!

Santa is on his way to the library!  Whether you are naughty or nice come see Santa for a really fun Holiday event at the Apache Junction Public Library, Thursday, December 20th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Santa and his helpers will be meeting and greeting all the children. Celebrate the joy of the season with music, movies, singing and laughter.

Surprises and a great time for all! Don’t forget to bring your camera! Program sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Fun Van by First Things First.

Library Hosting Salvation Army Angel Tree

The Library is proud to host a Salvation Army Angel Tree this year.

The Angel Tree is located next to the Service Desk. Stop in, pick up a tag, and bring unwrapped gifts back to us by December 19th to ensure more local kids can have a happy holiday this year.

We all appreciate it!

Fun Van Begins Evening Classes in December

The First Things First Fun Van at Apache Junction Public Library will begin evening classes in December.

Parents of young children age 0-3 are encouraged to join us on Tuesdays, December 4th, 11th, and 18th, while parents of children of multiple ages 0-5 are welcome on Thursdays, December 6th, 13th, and 20th.

Fun Van classes, which run from 5pm to 7pm, will cover a multitude of special topics on these nights.

Two Useful Library Databases to Check Out: Price It! and Legal Forms

Your public library subscribes to a number of useful databases, which are accessible from anywhere you have Internet access. All you need is your library card.

Today we're highlighting two very useful databases with information that may be difficult to find elsewhere online from a reputable source.

Price It! Antiques & Collectibles
This database is powered by GoAntiques.com and provides resources, information, tips and tools for you to research items. Turn to it when you're cleaning out the attic, handling an estate, scouring yard sales or checking out a local antique store. Price It! provides realized price data and images of items.

Legal Forms Library
This database contains Arizona legal forms for many situations. You can search by category or title to find a particular legal form, then download it to your computer to fill out. This database contains legal forms for everything from adoption to wills.

Library Closed November 10-12

The library will be closed from November 10 through November 12 in honor of the Veteran's Day holiday. We'll reopen at 9am on Tuesday, November 13. Have a safe holiday weekend!

November Computer and Job Search Classes
